 1. Can I bring a partner with me ?

Yes, you are more than welcome to come with a partner.  If your partner also wishes to do the research with you, then there is a reduced price of £150.00 for their course fee.  If they don't want to do the course, then there is no charge for them.

2. What can my partner do whilst I am researching ?

There is so much they can do depending on their interests.  

Photography :  the area has lots of photo opportunities, including magnificent landscapes, rural views, birds of prey etc.

Fishing and water sports : there is a lake at the end of our road they can use for windsurfing, sailing etc.

Walking and hiking : there are lots of beautiful walks in the area and we are within an hour and a halfs drive of the Pyrenees where there are excellent opportunities for hiking.

Cycling : this is a very popular area for cyclists being on the route of the Tour de France.

Painting and drawing : with all these lovely countryside there is so much to choose from.  Lovely old farmhouses, quaint village houses, lively markets, traditional churches and abbeys a world of inspiration.

Bird Watching : with a lake within 20 minutes walk you have all the water fowl including herons, ducks etc.  We also have numerous birds of prey as frequent visitors including buzzards, kites, falcons etc.

Skiing : maybe you have decided to take a winter break, in which case there is a selection of ski resorts within easy driving distance.

History : there are numerous castles, fortified towns, medieval market towns, chateaus and museums to visit.
